Last year we created a performance improvement and engagement App for one of our automotive clients. They wanted an ongoing programme that enabled them to track sales, effectively communicate with their sales teams and run incentive campaigns to consistently reward hard working individuals.
One of the first travel incentive campaigns we ran through the App was a trip to Abu Dhabi. We rewarded the top performing Dealer Principals between September and December with a memorable 4-night Arabian Adventure in the capital of the UAE.
We carefully crafted a 4-night itinerary, which combined the perfect balance of history, culture and activities with 5* luxury, relaxation and food.
The 4-night trip included 2 nights in the city and 2 nights in the desert to ensure the winners saw as much of the capital of the UAE as possible, whilst also enjoying some well-earned time at leisure.

The group flew directly from London Heathrow Terminal 4 to Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airways.
The convenient 7-hour flight ran on schedule and was praised by the winners for being such a smooth, seamless trip. The friendly staff and excellent inflight entertainment, meals and drinks ensured the group were content until arriving in Abu Dhabi at around 8pm the same day.
For the first 2 nights the group stayed at the stunning 5* Fairmont Bab al Bahr in the heart of the city where they soaked up the breath-taking view of one of Abu Dhabi’s icons, the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
For the final 2 nights, they were then whisked off to the secluded desert haven of Qasr al Sarab where they were enchanted by the incredible hotel facilities and the mesmerising landscape that surrounds it. This hotel offered a wow factor that we’re sure the guests won’t forget any time soon!

Throughout the trip there were a number of activities for the group to get involved in.
On their first full day in Abu Dhabi the winners went on a Past and Future tour of Abu Dhabi, visiting the grand Sheikh Zayed Mosque and the Louvre whilst learning about the history and culture of the UAE.
Lunch was then served alfresco in abundance at the swanky Sadiyaat Beach Club before people either set up camp on the daybeds around the pool in the sunshine or, opted to get their adrenalin pumping at the nearby theme park, Ferrari World.
In the desert, the activities were unsurprisingly, sand based. The winners took it in turns to enjoy camel riding, archery, sandboarding and dune bashing before spending the afternoon relaxing by the pool or in the spa.
The group didn’t go hungry throughout the trip. Local delicacies such as houmous, baba ghanoush, flatbreads and Arabic pastries were served at each meal accompanied by delicious meat and fish.
On the final night, guests indulged in slow cooked lamb, which was roasted under the sand for four hours prior to serving as well as, juicy chicken kebabs – the perfect traditional dining experience as a send-off for the group.
